Flickr supports several different image formats but does not support CR2. CR2 is a RAW image file format that is used by digital cameras to save unprocessed pictures. You can upload your pictures in the CR2 format to Flickr by first converting them to a compatible format, here's how:

  1. Launch your Web browser and visit one of the many websites that allow users to convert CR2 files to the JPG format. Examples of free online conversion sites include Online-Convert.com, PictureResize.org, and FixPicture.org.
  2. Click on the "Choose file" or "Convert" button and use the Windows file browser to find the CR2 file. Click on the "Open" button.
  3. Click on "Convert" and save the JPG file to your hard drive.
  4. Visit Flickr.com and log in to the website. Click on "Upload" and select "Choose photos and videos."
  5. Select the JPG file you previously saved and click on "Open."
  6. Click on "Upload."
