Having a set of descriptive tags on your photos make them easier to find in Flickr search. But if you don't want to see the tags that Flickr has added for you, you can simply hide them. Hiding the tags also prevents others from seeing them when they look at your photos. Following is the process to remove/hide tags added by Flickr:

  1. Open the Flickr App on one of your devices.
  2. If you do not have the Flickr App installed on your device, you can simply download it from the Google Play Store (for Android users) or from the App Store (for Apple users)
  3. If you don't wish to download the Flickr App on any of your devices then you can simply put up the Flickr URL at the address bar of your device browser which is - https://www.flickr.com/ and open Flickr without downloading it.
  4. Once you open Flickr on any of your device, sign in to Flickr using your Flickr username and Flickr password.
  5. After logging in to Flickr, it will take you to its Homepage.
  6. On the Flickr Homepage click on your Buddy icon which is located at the top right corner of your window.
  7. Click on Settings.
  8. Click on the Privacy & Permissions tab.
  9. Beside "Show autotags," click edit.
  10. Uncheck Yes, show autotags, then click Save.
