You can easily connect your Tumblr account to your Flickr account. Once both your accounts are connected, you can publish photos that you host on Flickr to your Tumblr blog post. The Flickr sharing interface enables you to post/share individual pictures, sets or your entire Flickr photostream. The blogging interface also provides a simple text box for adding a description of the photos and options to add tags to the new Tumblr blog entry.

  1. Sign into your Flickr account using your Flickr username and Flickr password.
  2. Click the drop-down arrow beside "You" which is located at the top left corner of Flickr Home page and select "Your Account."
  3. Select the "Sharing & Extending" tab.
  4. Click on the "Connect" link at the end of the "Tumblr" row.
  5. Sign into your Tumblr account, then click on the "Allow" button.
  6. Select the Tumblr blog to which you want to connect your Flickr account, then click "Next." Your Tumblr blog and Flickr are now connected, enabling you to post images from your Flickr account to your blog when you click the Tumblr icon displayed above your Flickr images and sets.
