Flickr is a wonderful place to share your photos, and you can do it while you are away if you have access to a computer and the Internet. Before you upload photos to Flickr, copy them to a folder on your Mac system where you keep images prepared specifically for Flickr. Any folder you add to the Flickr Uploadr (for Mac) is monitored for images that aren't already in your Flickr account. Any unique photos already in the folder or any new ones you add are automatically uploaded to Flickr. You can add as many folders as you like!

  1. Click on the Uploadr icon (Colorful cloud with an arrow pointing up) in the menu bar.
  2. Click on the 'Settings' icon i.e. the gray gear icon and then select 'Preferences'.
  3. Now click on the 'Upload' icon i.e. a cloud with an upward arrow.
  4. Click on the 'Add Folder' icon i.e. a button with a tiny '+' on it and select 'Add a folder'.
  5. Browse and select the desired folder.
  6. Click on Open.
  7. This is how you add a folder to Flickr from Mac.
