No, Flickr does not backup RAW files. Flickr is a photo sharing website and not designed for storage purpose. It allows you to backup photos and videos to access them from anywhere on any smartphone, computer or tablet. You can upload photos in .jpeg, .gif (non-animated) and .png file formats. You can also upload TIFF and some other file types, but they will automatically be converted to and stored in .jpeg file format. Flickr does not display RAW files. You need to convert them to .jpeg file format to view RAW files. RAW files have a large file size i.e. up to 20 times large. So it takes more time and bandwidth to upload photos. When you upload a RAW file to Flickr, it automatically converts to .jpeg file format without storing your original RAW file.
